    - Jerry Butler

Congratulations to our STAR for second quarter, Jerry Butler.  Jerry has served on the Board for the last three years in the role of secretary and IT support.  President Duane Hinshaw says “Jerry keeps us straight” on what needs to be done and how, following WP by-laws and policies. In his role as secretary, he has managed the conversion of older computer systems and enhanced the flow of everyday communication.  And, if that’s not enough to do, Jerry recently offered to help the RedBud Project with their IT systems. 

Jerry became a Wisdom Keeper in 2013 and has been involved in a number of WP activities ever since.  His greatest contribution was serving as ITN Lanier’s first Executive Director during its inaugural years before a paid Director was hired.  His leadership during that time was invaluable and gave the organization its solid foundation, similar to what he’s doing today for Wisdom Project 2030.  We would not be where we are today without Jerry’s support.  Thank you, Jerry, for all you do for Wisdom Project 2030!
